FOOTBALL FEDERATION VICTORIA (FFV) would like to congratulate all the players in the Geelong Region competition who won Best and Fairest and Golden Boot Awards in their respective competitions in season 2016.

FFV has this week arranged for memorabilia to recognise these achievements, with links to all awards available in the attached PDF document. Please note, the FFV Geelong Golden Boot Awards are awarded in senior men's and women's leagues only.

Collection options are as follows:
- FFV Geelong clubs only: collection by appointment from Sports House, 360-380 Moorabool St, South Geelong 3220. Please contact FFV Zone Development Officer (Wimmera South Coast) Foddy Kyprian on 0424 016 311 to arrange a collection date and time.

BEST & FAIREST AND GOLDEN BOOT TALLIES

Best and Fairest tallies are based on the information submitted by referees, via the online form throughout the 2016 season. Golden Boot tallies are based on statistics entered by clubs on SportsTG (formerly Fox Sports Pulse).

FFV has collated all available information and has followed up with referees and clubs to improve the totality and accuracy of these results. In addition, ample time has been provided to allow for all parties to check, update and confirm information they have submitted to FFV. All award winners are final according to information at hand on Tuesday 4 October 2016.

Players that have played at more than one Club, Team or League will have votes and/or goals recognised under the following circumstances as outlined in the 2016 Rules of Competition:

- Votes and/or goals in multiple Leagues:

The Player's goals and/or votes earned in each League will be considered separate and do not carry over, irrespective of whether they were earned with the same Club or after transferring from one Club to another.
Example 1: Votes awarded to a Player in Zagame's Women's State League 4 South cannot be counted in the final tally for the Best and Fairest Award for Zagame's Women's State League 4 East in that Regular Season.

- Votes and/or goals at multiple Clubs in the same League:

Subject to Rules 2.1.3 and 2.1.4, if a Player plays for more than one Club in the same League in the same Regular Season, the player's goals/votes are tallied together, however the Player will only be recognised in terms of his award as a Player for the Club at which the player finishes the Regular Season.
Example 2: Votes awarded to the same Player whilst playing for multiple Clubs in Zagame's Men's State League 4 West will be tallied together for the purposes of the Best and Fairest Award for Zagame's Men's State League 4 West in that Regular Season.

- Votes and/or goals at multiple Teams from the same Club in the same League:

If a Player has earned votes and/or goals for multiple Teams at the same Club in the same League, they will only have been allocated votes and/or goals for the one Team in which the most votes and/or goals were earned.

Example 3: 6 Votes awarded to a Player for the 'Red' Team cannot be counted if they earned 11 Votes for the 'Blue' Team for the same Club in the same League.

Joint award winners

Where an award has been tied between multiple players, additional medals have been ordered. FFV will write separately to affected clubs today. Please contact FFV prior to collection to ensure these have arrived.

For queries about any of the above, please call 9474 1800 and press 1 for Competitions or write to competitions@ffv.org.au.
