Surfside Waves withdraws from Girls' Under 13 competition
SURFSIDE WAVES SC has officially withdrawn its team in the Under 13 GRFC Girls’ competition, effective from Saturday the 18th of July.
As a result of the withdrawal, the following changes will apply to the competition:
- Surfside Waves SC will still be able to play this weekend for the 11 July game at 9:30am vs. Lara SC.
- Rounds 10 and 11 (27/6 and 11/7): While Surfside Waves SC will have physically played a fixture, the results from these games must be removed to make sure all remaining teams in the league are scheduled with the same amount of games (15 each).
- Round 12 onwards (25/7 – 5/9): This team has been replaced with a BYE. All games from 18 July onwards involving Surfside Waves SC will now be replaced with the bye.
To reiterate, while the result will not influence the ladder, this Saturday’s fixture scheduled between Surfside Waves SC and Lara SC at Shell Road Reserve at 9:30am will still go ahead.
