James Royals Eulogy - Bronwyn Vigors

It saddens me to be writing this so unexpectedly but I must say a few things about a great woman. I will never forget the first couple of messages from Bronwyn inviting me over to come play for the braves. She didn't know but it was a dream of mine since a young basketball player to play overseas. She was a very important part in helping me to achieve a dream that for a long while seemed unachievable. She was so kind to me and so helpful with me getting acclimated with my new Aussie family. One memory I will cherish is her and I exchanging stories on a ride to port Macquarie about where I lives were thus far and her telling me about how she thought she would be doing something different in life at one point but life's crazy twist and turns landed her at the point she was. Family, her job and taking care of her braves basketball family she took pride In all those things. She like a lot of the Aussie women I met seemed to always be on the go. On this drive she was saying that she had been working and studying for her yoga instructor exam I think and couldn't wait to take a nap. I offered to drive but she declined and kept driving. I laugh a little when I think about it because to this day I think in her mind she was thinking  "I don't know if I should trust this American boy behind the wheel" lol. Had I thought I wouldn't see her again I would have hugged and thanked her a little longer after the braves final ceremony. I know God doesn't need help but he does do a good job of recruiting angels. He picked a determined, thoughtful, organized, caring and loving one in my eyes. I will miss you Mrs Bron I know God will give you a golden pen, notebook and cell phone to make sure your family and braves family are going to be alright in your physical absent but I know your spirit will always watch over us.
Thank you for everything -James R
