ARE YOU INTERESTED IN PLAYING IN THE BIG V?

Many associations are in the process of trialling for the 2011 season. As a sport, Basketball is the most inclusive sport in Victoria. Athletes who are deaf or have hearing loss are encouraged to attend selection trials if they are interested in playing at the elite level.

To keep an eye on clubs make sure you visit the Big V website (www.bigv.com.au) or to head straight to the selection trials page click here. Athletes that are interested in trialling with a Big V Club, are also requested to make contact with Matthew Dunstan from Basketball Victoria (matthew.dunstan@basketballvictoria.com.au) to make sure appropriate deaf friendly steps are in place for the trials.

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
