HKBA Basketball activities to be suspended until further notice.

Hi Everyone,
As per our message last week, all our activities are postponed until further notice.

We anticipate not being able to resume until at Least after Easter.  The government has daily updates: once the restrictions for limiting numbers and the social distancing principles are removed, many sports will act quickly to get as many people back to playing as possible.  Per government advice, this could be anywhere from a few weeks to a few months.

Many of the venues will be closing from noon today and the Council officer at the Brickpit will be closing doors at 12 noon until he gets further advice from Council as to a reopen.

Please do keep up to date with the advice from Basketball NSW as this is the guide for the sport returning to normal activities.

All Managers will receive an email if we get positive news as to a restart of activities.  Any credit due for prepaid games or skills will be attributed to games, skills, camps later in the year.

In the meantime, continue to stay fit and we look forward to seeing everyone back after the restrictions (due to the virus) are lifted.

In the meantime, let's keep the game alive. Send us your best "isolation basketball" training routines or challenges. Let's keep balling Spiders!

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
