Bulldogs 110 (S Berkefeld 28, S Lock 22, M Black 19) defeated Saints 63 (J Haggett 17, H Mules 14)

The Bulldogs stamped their authority on the league in this contest. Both teams went in undefeated however it was the Bulldogs who crushed the Saints with an offensive onslaught. The game was set up with a 9 – 0 run to begin and the Bulldogs never looked back, the ball movement and ability to find the open player had the Saints continuously scrambling on defence. Young stars Josh Haggett and Harry Mules worked hard for the Saints and showed what bright futures they have, however they were no match for the experience of Simon Berkefeld who led all scorers with 28 points.

Panthers 83 (R Hein 22, C Barrett 20, O Thomson 17) defeated Roos 70 (M Bachmann 20, H Wright 18)

Last seasons Grand Final MVP Rob Hein controlled the boards and managed to lead the game in scoring with 22 points, Hein was well supported by former Roo Corey Barrett who had 20 points of his own. Young Gun Harry Wright worked hard for his 18 points and Roos stalwart Mark Bachmann had 20 points before fouling out.

Cats 71 (G Winter 22, A Winter 21) defeated Saints 54 (P Venn 26, M Pulmer 11)

The two Millicent sides clashed in this contest and it was the Cats who would come out on top. A three-point lead to the Cats at the half had this contest shaping up to be a classic, however the Cats ramped up their defence and rebounding effort to extend their lead by three quarter time. Georgia and Alana Winter were working well on both ends of the floor combing for 43 points for the Cats, while Poppy Venn had a night out for the Saints with 26 points.
