Panthers 125 (K Tipene 30, J Walker 30, B Rathjen 24) def Bulldogs Red 76 (M Black 24, J Berry 23, P Loring 10)

The Panthers came out all guns blazing in this contest, with only five players available they piled on 125 points with all five players scoring 20 points or better. Matt Black and Josh Berry had impressive scoring game for the Bulldogs, however the Bulldogs defence was no match for the Panthers who scored from inside and out.

Cats 88 (F Bradley 28, J Murphy 20, K Bradley 14) def Bulldogs Blue 77 (S Berkefeld 28, D Hackwill 17, B Young 14)

The Cats backed up a good win in round three with an impressive performance against the Bulldogs Blue. Frazer Bradley had himself a game with 28 points going head to head with Bulldog Simon Berkefeld who also had 28. The game was in the balance going part way through the third quarter before the Cats found momentum and some scoreboard breathing room.

Roos 84 (Mony Makoi 23, Malok Makoi 22, D Bachmann 13) def Cougars 56 (T de Wit 32, K Shepherd 10, D Kuring 7, J McGregor 7)

Toby de Wit showed his class with 32 points against the fast paced Roos, however he simply did not have the support to keep his side in the contest, Kayn Shepherd showed some class for the Cougars using his size to create some opportunities. It was the Roos who played out of sync for much of the game before finding their rhythm and picking up their running game in the second half creating some easy opportunities.

Cougars 40 (S Ritter 13, C Horrigan 9, M Horrigan 7) def Saints 38 (O Fuller 17, L Schultz 11, L Haines 6)

The Saints went into the contest with star Jasmin Howe after an ankle injury and definitely missed her leadership and offensive output. Both team struggled to put the ball in the hoop consistently as this game became a defensive struggle. It was the Cougars who rose victorious in another close contest, young gun Sarah Ritter with 13 points to lead her side. Olivia Fuller worked hard for her 17 points but it was not enough to ger her side over the line.

Cats 70 (E Winter 23, G Winter 18, A Winter 12) def Panthers 48 (J Jones 12, S Loughead 12, T Bryant 11)

The Cats bounced back after a close loss in round three to get back on track against the Panthers. The Winter sisters combined for 53 points and all had a considerable impact on both ends of the floor. Joey Jones and Sam Loughead each had 12 for the Panthers who couldn’t string together enough plays to stay in this contest.
