MG Plasterers SECBL Round 13

Round 13 MG Plasterers SECBL

Round 13 of the MG Plasterers SECBL involved some high scoring action but not many close games. In the men the Panthers were comfortable winners over the Bulldogs Blue. Panthers players Kurt Rodis and young gun Jake Walker each had 20 points, league veteran Simon Berkefeld had 21 points for his Bulldogs side.

The Cats and the Cougars faced off in a fast-paced game with neither team able to slow the other. The Cats piled on the points each quarter on their way to a 106 to 77-point victory, Kade Bradley led the Cats with 38 points but it was Tobi de Wit of the Cougars who had one of the solo performances of the season with 54 points including eleven three pointers.

The Roos are making their final run at a playoff birth with convincing win over Bulldogs Red, Mony Makuer led the Roos with 29 points and was well supported by Dale Bachmann with 22 points of his own. Shaun Lock of the Bulldogs continued his good form with 29 points.

The women’s competition again also had a couple of blow out games, the Cats led by Lucy Denton and Emily Winter were too much for the Panthers despite a strong game from Samantha Crute who led her team with 17 points.

The Cougars cemented a top two finish with a 33 point win over the Bulldogs/Roos, Keryl Ousey with 30 points was too much for the small Bulldogs/Roos team to handle.
