Tara Bryant selected in ACJBC Team
Basketball Mount Gambier was strongly represented at The Australian Country Junior Basketball Cup held in Albury. From this tournament, a team is selected to travel to and play in New Zealand in April.
Mount Gambier junior Tara Bryant impressed with her play in Albury and was selected in the team to play in New Zealand. Tara has been playing great basketball in her Under 16 Mount Gambier Lakers side, a side that she captains, and has even taken the opportunity to train with the new Pioneers women’s side when it fits in with her busy basketball schedule.
Tara played for the SA Country Sharks during the tournament in Albury, her side finishing third in their pool before the cross over games and finishing 8th overall.
After a couple of days rest, Tara will be straight into training with her Under 16 Lakers side who are preparing to play in the Bendigo Basketball Junior Classic over the January long weekend.
