COVID UPDATE
Density requirements in South Australia have been further relaxed overnight, with the ratio shifting to 3 persons per 4qm (or 75%). Updated COVIDSafe Plans will be issued via email outlining these changes for your club/venue. These changes not only take effect in your licenced venues, but also in your match day areas too (such as changerooms, coaches boxes etc). SANFL has updated our COVIDSafe Density Calculator to assist you to implement these changes. Footy clubs across the state have done an incredible job managing COVID restrictions. Let’s not undo all of the hard work by letting things slip and continuing to lead the way with our COVIDSafe practices. Make sure you club keeps up to date with the Government mandated restrictions, as well as best practice health advice by regularly reviewing the content and links at www.sanfl.com.au/returntoplay .

FAIRMONT GRASSROOTS INITIATIVE
Fairmont Homes are proud to introduce their GRASSROOTS Initiative; created to provide financial assistance to South Australian junior sporting clubs and help them reach their goals and objectives. To launch their GRASSROOTS Initiative, Fairmont are inviting junior sporting organisations from all over South Australia to apply for grants up to the value of $3,000. This will help support organisations to engage the communities around them. The initial grants will be available to junior clubs looking to buy new sporting equipment or uniforms, develop the skills of their participants and initiate long term strategies that help increase participation within their direct community. Applications are now open, and close at 11:00pm on Sunday, 4th April, 2021. The application process is quick and easy. Fairmont invites your junior sporting organisation to submit an application for their first round of funding by clicking the button below.
SOUND THE SIREN
To mark the kick-off of the 2021 Community Football Season, we are calling on all SA clubs to “sound their siren”. We want to capture vision from every club across South Australia of them ‘sounding their club siren’ that can be shared to celebrate the return of Community Football. Get your most creative person to film your team “sounding their siren” and celebrating the start of the footy season, and your club will feature on SANFL social media channels. Simply upload your video footage to your Club Facebook or Instagram Feed and tag SANFL In the Community by Wednesday 7 April and use the hashtags #firstrsiren and #itstartswithus to feature on our social media feed. So, time to open up the clubhouse, welcome back families, teammates, coaches and friends and together let’s SOUND THE SIREN and get footy started!
TOYOTA GOOD FOR FOOTY RAFFLE
Since 2008, Toyota has helped thousands of grassroots clubs raise millions of dollars, and this year Toyota want your footy club to be part of it. It costs nothing to fundraise with Toyota and the process so easy that anyone at your club can get involved. Just get your members and supporters to buy and sell $5 raffle tickets, while the club gets to keep 100% of the proceeds. Plus someone in your community could win a brand new Toyota… that’s a whole lot better than a meat tray! Last year, one local footy club raised over $33,000! Now that’s something to get excited about. Register now and kick-off your fundraising season, click the button below for more information.
Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
