11SQN captained by CPL Hong Le, challenged SADB in a friendly game at RAAF Edinburgh on Sunday 17 Oct 10.

Both teams featured full line-ups, but neither had come to together since the SA Inter-Service Tournament held in August.

Taking the third quarter 11SQN, pushed SADB all the way, taking the lead for the first time in the game late in the last quarter. SADB on the back of LAC Benyon's three point basket and LCPL Portakiewicz driving the middle in the final moments just edged off 11SQN who had restored momentum.

Stopping 11SQNs last attempts at basket SADB survived for a gritty 44-38 win. LAC Scott Benyon (SADB) led all scorers with 18, followed by CPL Adam Ingall (11SQN) with 14 and CPL Scott Columbus (11SQN) always dangerous with 10.

11SQN has challenged SADB and Army for a future game soon, ahead of their participation in the St Clair Christmas Carnival.
