We are proud to announce that our fantastic operations manager Megan Rouse has been presented with the Jack Carter Memorial Award (Basketball Administrator of the Year) by Basketball Victoria. This prestigious award was presented to a surprised Megan at the Basketball Victoria Annual Awards Dinner on Tuesday May 5.

The award recognises Megan's achievements in the following areas: developmental activities, increased participation numbers, management skills, facility development, marketing activities and financial achievements. She has helped the Club achieve outstanding growth and increased participation numbers. Since taking up the position of Operations Manager, Collingwood Basketball has grown to over 1000 players and Megan has played a key role in facilitating and managing this increased demand. She has also been instrumental in developing the club's highly regarded and award winning Inclusive Community Programs that encourage and  facilitate participation for players from low-income and CALD communities and those living with a disability.

She also works hard to make the most of our limited and over-stretched available court space, and continues to work tirelessly on the campaign for a new stadium. More recently she  has driven our successful Big V entry and helped create the great atmosphere at the games.
