Lee Miles | Caloundra Basketball | Junior Coaching Director




Caloundra Basketball  is pleased to introduce Lee Miles to our team. Lee has been engaged as the clubs Junior Coaching Director since 2017. During this time Lee has introduced many new programs and development pathways for the Caloundra Juniors including but not limited to:  

 

  • Little Legends

  • Super Hoopers

  • Session planning for club training

  • Caloundra Basketball Academy (Invitational)

  • U11 Club Championships

  • U14 Interclub - 1st Place

  • U16 Interclub

  • U19 Interclub

  • Girls Play Too program

  • Club coaches development

  • Working with local schools

  • More Caloundra Juniors trailing for Sunshine Coast Phoenix Representative teams.

 

Lee has brought a professional approach to Caloundra Basketball, with Lee’s expertise our participants are growing into more confident, strong players. Lee has introduced Caloundra Basketball juniors to the likes of Nat Hurst, Abby Bishop, Aja Parham, Francis Donders and Roy Booker to name a few.

 

Basketball in Queensland and Australia is growing at a rapid rate and we are moving with the times. By providing the most up to date training and facilities, we are growing stronger as an association with each season.We would like to take this opportunity to Thank Lee for all of his hard work and dedication to Caloundra Basketball.

 

Lee’s List of Credentials:

 

  • Over 10 years Coaching experience 

  • Graduate Certificate from the University of Queensland in Sports Coaching (Sports Psychology & Biomechanics)

  • BQ Association coach

  • Level 1 S&C coach

  • Coaching experience at QBL, Basketball Queensland Teams and Rep level u21s- U12s. Individual skills coach.

  • Playing experience Ex England International Junior Men's team, US and Europe.
