Help get our U14, Div1 Boys to Albury!
I am writing to enlist your support for the Under 14 Div. 1 Boys, to represent the club at the Club Nationals in Albury later this year.
The team performed exceptionally well at the Basketball SA Junior State Championships, qualifying for Club Nationals. This event will be held in Albury, NSW for one week from September 28th.
This is the first time in the history of the Woodville District Basketball Club that any of their junior boys teams has qualified for this level of competition. The boys and their coaches have worked extremely hard to get this far and are excited at the prospect of being able to compete at a national level.
Of course, the cost of taking the team to a national competition is significant so we are asking everyone to help out where they can and support the boys in their fundraising efforts.
A night at the Races
On Thursday 21st August, Greyhound Racing SA has dedicated a very special night at Angle Park as a fundraiser for our Woodville Warriors Under 14 Boys Division 1 team.
This is set to be a great night. Come along and join us for a fun evening and bring your friends and family – the more the merrier.
A special package has been put together for groups or individuals wishing to attend the race night. For just $35 per adult or $15 per child (under 13), you will receive entry into Angle Park, a race book, tipsters sheet, dinner in Chasers Restaurant and a night of top class Greyhound Racing. Dinner at Chasers consists of an all you can eat smorgasboard with a choice of over 40 mouth watering dishes.
We also need to find sponsors for the races. Races can be sponsored for as little as $300 plus GST with naming rights being acknowledged through listings in The Advertiser, TABForm, TAB Agency Sheets, On course branding, SKY Channel and Race Program. Prizes for sweeps would also be appreciated.

Wine Sales
Warriors labelled wines are available for purchase. These consist of a sparkling, sauvignon blanc and shiraz, all of which are available at a very reasonable $8 per bottle.
We also have a Mt Monster Shiraz available for $14 per bottle.

Orders must be minimum 6 bottles per order (can be mixed) and will be available for collection from St Clair on Friday 22 August 6.30-9pm. Please provide your contact details when ordering.
Chocolates
Last but not least, we are also selling Cadbury Fundraiser chocolates. Boxes contain a mixture of Caramello Koala and Freddo varieties.
If you think you can sell a box and would like to help out, that’d be great. If not, look out for the boxes at home games and feel free to purchase a chocolate (or several).
