SA Country Basketball is pleased to confirm the trials information and registration for the 2022 U15, U16 and U18 High Performance Program.  The trials are open for all basketball players who live in country South Australia in the following age groups:

 

Under 15: 2008

Under 16: 2007

Under 18: 2006 & 2005

 

If selected the athletes will attend the Country Cup held in Albury from the 8^th to 15^th of January 2022 (U16 and U18) or the Southern Cross Challenge held in Melbourne from the 13^th to the 17^th of January 2022 (U15).  Obviously at the current time there is a level of uncertainty with any interstate travel, and we will have contingency plans in place for an internal development tournament should it become apparent closer to the time that attending these interstate tournaments is not possible.

For athletes attending trials, please bring:

- a basketball

- a red and blue singlet* see note below 

- water bottle

- meals for the day**

 

*Note - The blue and red singlet DOES NOT have to be SA Country branded. 

Plain red and blue singlets or t-shirts are ok

SAC blue and red singlets are NOT available for purchase from SA Country prior to or on the day. 

 

**Note - There will no player supervision between or after the sessions. It is expected that parents will supervise, collect or allow players to leave the stadium (ie to get food between sessions).

 

 

 

If selected in the team the athletes will need to attend all training dates as outlined below (note “St Francis” refers to St Francis De Sales school in Mt Barker).
