UNDER 14 BOYS VISIT WANDANA MOSQUE
The u14 Div 1 boys were invited to the Wandana Mosque by their teammates Ali and Mohammad for Iftar, (the breaking of the fast) a part of Ramadan and to learn more about the Islamic faith. Ramadan is a time of fasting, to assist Muslims empathise with the poor and hungry. Thank you to the Jawad family for inviting us. The team enjoyed a delicious meal and met the Imam of the Mosque and the Mayor of Tea Tree Gully.
