The North Adelaide Basketball Club is looking for a part time Administration Assistant

We anticipate the role involving the following Duties & Responsibilities

 

Player Enquiries

Accept and respond to all enquires (via e-mail and/or phone) relating to playing for the Rockets:

 

Player Registration

Register new players on SportsTG website.

Liaise with Basketball SA for all registration related issues. Manage the process for outgoing player clearances.

 

Player & Team Administration - SportTG database

Create and maintain the following records on the centralized BSA system.

• Player details.
• Detailsofparent/guardiansofplayers..

Following junior trials, and advice from the Junior Operations Group, ensure the correct allocation of players, coaches & team managers to teams.

 

Coaches Register and Police Clearance Administration

Create and maintain the following records.

• Coachdetails and register
• Ensure that minimum requirements to coach at NABC are met: -
  • o    Police Clearance
  • o    Play by the Rules compliance.

 

Accounting

Follow up outstanding player fees via email and/or formal letters from Vice President - Basketball.

Assist accounting officer with entering accurate data on player fee payments.

 

Junior Operations

Assist with management and administration of the three levels of junior competition: -

• District Level
• Future Stars
• Pocket Rockets

Take responsibility as coordinator for our coaching in schools programs.

Coordinate all NABC skills and holiday clinics.

 

Location, remuneration and hours

The role will be based in an office at Norwood in David Durant’s office.

Remuneration will be in accordance with the Award Rates

Initially, 10am to 2pm on Tuesday and Thursday, but may expand as required.
