Kirsty took a great shot and then Sophie stepped onto the court. Norrisha had her turn running the floor and Sophie shot well under pressure. The shouts from the sideline alternated between ‘lift your shot’ and ‘relax!’ This was highly relevant given the mounting fouls and shooting opportunities. Taylor left the bench, followed shortly by Georgia. Opal made a nice three and Jo continued to score. Late in the quarter Georgia was fouled and made one from the two. By half time the Rockets had had a scoring frenzy and the score was 36 to 29.

Opal opened the third quarter with 2 quick scores and great team work assisted to Tayla to score too. Lauren continued with strong defensive pressure and caused a Forestville 8 second violation. Tayla was shooting well, this time with an assist from Kirsty, and at both ends Norrisha continued to take sneaky rebounds. Georgia made a quick grab and followed it up with a strong block. Jo was flattened and made them pay with both shots going in. Georgia made a quick intercept and the score was 52 to 43.

The pace picked up in the last quarter with Lauren making a steal and running in for a nice layup. Tayla blocked; Sophie made a smooth long shot; Kirsty played hard defence and Olivia left the court with 5 fouls. Norrisha crumbed for the ball and Tayla continued to score.
