Pre Season Starts for the Men's Premier League

Pre season training officially got under way for the Men's Premier League Program on Saturday, the 9th of January at Mawson Lakes, with an hour and a half of a targeted running schedule completed, under the direction of John Rossi. Some 30 players got to the session and it was described as a solid start to what promises to be a busy few weeks as the boys look to get some miles into the legs and improve their fitness base. The running sessions (held every Saturday for the next 6 to 7 weeks) will be in addition to twice weekly on-court trainings (Mondays and Thursdays) for the month of January, before the squad needs to be trimmed to approximately 16 Premier League spots.

It was great to see some invited junior players take the opportunity to get themselves in front of Senior Coach Nathan Hawkes, who was impressed with the effort of everyone present.
