A BIG WARM WELCOME to Mitch Dance
Mitchell has played for the Taranaki Mountainairs in the NZ NBL for the past 2 seasons. He has also represented his country at the junior level where he top scored for New Zealand at the FIBA U17 World Cup in Argentina averaging 15.6 points per game. He is a current member of the senior men's 3 x 3 wider squad. In 2019 Mitchell attended Prolific Prep School in the United States where he competed against some of the best players in the world.
It doesn't stop there, Mitchell has a history of working with kids and a strong focus on junior development. He will be working with the junior athletes at Somerset as the Junior Development Officer.
We are very fortunate to have secured someone of Mitch's calibre of person and athlete to our club. Mitch is eager to get started and we hope this is the start of something big for Mitch and his career.
