DEER Park’s newest recruit Brendan Fevola has taken a different approach to pre-season training, joining Channel 10’s popular show I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.
Fevola was announced as one of the 12 celebrities to take on the South African jungle on Sunday night.
The former Carlton and Brisbane star was joined by Shane Warne, Anthony Callea, Bonnie Lythgoe and Havana Brown.
In his first challenge, Fevola teamed up with Val Lehman in a canoeing trial before taking part in a team tucker trial.
Fevola is one of the league's most notable signings for 2016.
The 35-year-old has been playing with the Yarrawonga Pigeons in the Ovens and Murray League, decided to make the move to a metropolitan league next season, with Deer Park winning the power forward’s signature.
Fevola will be back in action on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here tonight at 7.30pm.
