One of the Falcon’s favourite sons, Daniel Bunworth this week racks up an incredible 300 WRFL games, 128 of those in the Green and Gold.
Daniel began his playing career back in 1993 and has moved around in a variety of competitions including the WRFL, VAFA, GFL and the VFL. He has enjoyed football at elite levels and enjoyed individual success collecting many accolades along the journey.
Daniel has displayed his versatility playing in the backline and midfield and in recent years has shown he is a senior coach of the future mentoring and developing the junior talent that has come through the Falcon’s junior ranks.
His football resume is impressive and below is a snapshot from it.

Fab Gatti was Daniel’s coach during the important years of U16’s through to U19’s. He had a huge impact on a young Daniel and they collected two premierships together. The friendship formed way back then continues to this day.
Luke Dennerley and Mark Elso convinced Daniel to return to the Vales in 2010 and gave him the opportunity to begin his coaching career. Daniel states that his one burning desire still to be achieved in his playing career is to enjoy Premiership glory with the Falcons.
Now in his 23rd consecutive year of football, Daniel enjoys his football as much as ever and has racked up close to 400 competitive games of football and joining the 300 club is another magnificent milestone in his impressive career.
