Emmaus High School students practicing wrestling drills, learning new techniques and training every week. 3 students to include 2 males and 1 female athlete are targets for the 2018 Youth Olympic Games. Randy Ngeyus was also selected to join Palau's Wrestling Team to compete in the upcoming Oceania Championships next month in Tahiti. This will be Randy's first time to compete internationally as a Cadet and Junior athlete. BWF was able to submit the application for 3 universality places to PNOC in January for the 2018 Youth Olympic Games (YOG). We're hopeful that our athletes will be able to receive a scholarship to help them train as well for the YOG. Next year our focus will be on sending athletes to the Oceania Championships and YOG Qualifier.
