Among the wrestlers taking part in the 2010 WC are Palau, FSM, Solomon Islands, Australia, Guam, and New Zealand.

Elgin Elwais of Palau competed in the Greco Roman 55kg weight class. Elgin's first match was against Gyu-Jin Choi of South Korea. Elgin wrestled both periods of the match and proved to be very strong but it was Choi who eventually won the the match. Choi went on to win the silver medal after losing to Hamid Reihanpour Soryan of Iran who won the Gold Medal in the finals. Elgin also wrestled Elchin Aliyev of Azerberjain in the repechage match but lost during the 1st period by 1 point and during the 2nd period by 6 points after Aliyev scored to win the match. Elgin ranked 33 out of 34 wrestlers.
Elgin returned to the U.S. Olympic Education Training Center (USOETC) to continue his training.
John Tarkong Jr. Oceania President, also attended the FILA Bureau Meeting, FILA Congress Meeting and the World Championshps.
