SIPBL, also known as Solomon Island Premier Basketball League is newly formed league that will cater for elite basketball local players and international players, coaches and executive opportunities not often available at our local league. The SIPBL was found in 2018 as a Solomon Island Premier Basketball league and only Six (6) spaces are available for basketball clubs/teams that wish to be part of this exciting opportunity and will experience exponential growth going into future as part of our development program for 2023 Pacific Game.

SIPBL Mission statement: To teach, develop and expose basketball players to a much higher basketball competition and also to scout potential players for regional competitions while providing the local community an exciting brand of basketball and entertainment.

SIPBL is the obvious choice for any player, team owner, coach, agent, sponsor, scout and anyone with an interest in Basketball Premier League or sport in general. SIPBL offers a league that provided the perfect balance between team owners and players while maintaining high level of competition and a platform that showcases the best available talent in each respective area.

The SI Premier Basketball league is set to kick off in March and will run through to end of July 2020. The proposed launching of the SIPBL is confirmed for end of March and competition is expected to kick off on 1^st week April 2020. Games will play on Sundays and Thursday nights and only Six (6) spaces or slots are available for clubs/teams/groups who wish to participate at this Premier Basketball League. The SI Premier Basketball league will run concurs with future SIBF/HBL amateur basketball league.

A meeting will be convene early November for existing club/team officials and interest groups to furnish more details of the competition and as well provide Expression of interest forms for clubs/teams who wish to be part of this exciting basketball opportunity. One of club/team entry criteria is to have a team participating at SIBF/HBL amateur basketball league, so it will become a feeder or development team.

Team(s) will be register up to Twenty Players, and Five (5) spaces will be cater for international/import players should any clubs/teams wish to undertake such opportunity and it is solely at the discretion of club/team owner.

Each team(s) is expected to maintain the highest level of professionalism possible. While this may be the expectation for many organizations or companies both public and private, this is a requisite for SIPBL member teams. It is imperative that this standard be upheld always as any member team, player, affiliate, and staff member direct or indirect representative of the SIPBL teams.
