New Honiara Basketball League Committee Elected
The Solomon Islands Basketball Federation (SIBF) formally announced and congratulated the newly elected executive committee members to the Honiara Basketball League (HBL).
Following the HBL election conducted on Thursday 14th April, 2016, at the National Olympic Committee Office of Solomon Islands (NOCSI) office, the following were duly elected through secret ballot, and have accepted their new position and roles to lead HBL in the next term.

PRESIDENT - Von Sy
VICE PRESIDENT - Daffie Tommy Hendrick Toata
TREASURER - Michael Prakash
SECRETARY - Hemah Aquillah
3 X MEMBERS (To be appointed by committee in their first meeting)
According to new President Von, in his maiden address thanked the members for their vote of confidence in electing him as President.
Von has promised to help re-ignite the sport of basketball in the capital and is looking at changing the way the sport is being managend and coordinated.
HBL new committee will be informing all members of their latest plans going forward during their term.
