D’Originals gets back Master’s League title

Team D’Originals regained their lost glory as they beat 9-Ball Friendsters, 72-69 to win the championship crown in the Master’s League held Sunday at the Palau National gym.

D’Originals sealed the best of three series with a 2-0 count.

After trailing 20-19 in the opening tip off, D’Originals orchestrated a 20-10 run in the second to seal the first half with a 39-30 lead.

From there, they never looked back as they went all the way to close the series and get back the championship trophy. FBL chairman Joseph Torres awarded D’Originals the revolving trophy immediately after the game.
