MES gains finals berth in EACS Girls league

Contender Meyuns Elementary School (MES) Demul Fines gained the first finals spot after beating Koror Elementary School (KES) Stars, 35-32 in the ongoing EACS Central Schools Girls basketball league.

MES caught fire in the final quarter as they outrun KES with a 16-14 count that pushed them to score the win. Trang Ksano once again led the scoring clutches for MES with 30 points while Jacelyne Adelbai tallied 18 markers for KES Stars.

With the win MES Demul Fines awaits the winner of the SDA Queens-GBH Smuuch semifinals game. The winner of that game will go on to face MES for the championship set on February 15 while the loser will meet KES Stars for the consolation game today at 3:45 p.m. at the Palau National gym.
