The presentation included a summary of the Plan and the National Development Program (NDP) through a power point presentation.  In addition to a hard copy of the Plan, Mr Kyota also presented Ms Temengil with a presentation kit containing a copy of all that is contained in the NDP on several CD’s.

Ms Temengil commented on the various courses that Basketball Palau have developed within their National Accreditation Scheme (NAS) and suggested that this is what the other sports within Palau need to also do and that this could be the start of a NAS for PNOC and Palau sport.  In addition she suggested a number of systems within PNOC that Basketball Palau could use in their Plan to save ”re-inventing the wheel”, such as the national registration system and talent identification system, that already exist.

Mr Kyota, who is also the President of PNOC, commented that maybe the Development Plan of Basketball Palau might be a model for other sports within Palau to follow in developing their own plans for the future.
