Teams Ministry of Finance (MOF) Omsangel and Ministry of Health (MOH) Band Aid secured separate victories against rivals, Friday night in the 2014 season of the Rudimch Enterprise Government/Business League at the Palau National gym.

MOF Omsangel scored another win this time at the expense of Koror State Government (KSG) Royals, 75-64. MOF Omsangel took an early 17-15 lead in the opening frame and then went on to spurt a 20-17 run in the second canto as they took a 37-32 advantage at the end of the first half.

MOF Omsaengel then continued their run in the second half as they kept the KSG Royals at bay to secure another win and spreading the contribution to its line up with five of its players finishing in double figures.

Sunshine Soalablai top the game with 18 points followed by Roydan Renguul who had 14 as Weston chipped in 13. Other players from MOF who had double digits were Jeffrey Tkel and Tutii Benjamin who had 12 and 11, respectively.

On the other hand, Jarvin Kintaro topscored for KSG Royals with 15 as BJ Adelbai and Ivan Blesam had 12 and 10, in that order on a losing cause.

Meanwhile, MOH Band Aid nailed their second win at the expense of MOE Spiders, 81-77 in a come from behind fashion. Kevin Beketaut led the scoring chores for MOH Band Aid with 25 while Teruo Melus chipped in 20 as Dean Terry had 24 for the Spiders on the losing end.

In other games, President’s X-Men won over PPUC Electric Eel, 88-80; PPR Stingrays beat PRR Dragons, 101-97; President’s X-Men bested team Malii, 66-46; and MOF Omsangel defeated MOH Band Aid, 80-66.
