No games Sunday for FBL Masters

With the festivities for Palau’s 20th Independence Day in full swing, organizers have decided to postpone the games set Sunday for the quarterfinals of the 2014 Filipino Master League basketball tournament at the Palau National gym.

Instead of having the games this Sunday, the quarterfinals will be played on October 5. It will still feature Gilas Originals versus Surangel and Sons in the opener at 11 a.m. followed by the MogMog Rats and Stars-team Kabalikat tussle at 12:30 p.m.

Afternoon matches will have WCTC Red Rooster taking on PPR All Stud at 2 p.m. while Melusch Dil will face Mason’s Hardware in the main game at 3:30 p.m.

Winners of the quarterfinals will advance to the final four. The league is under the supervision of the Palau Basketball Federation (PBF). By Peter Erick L. Magbanua (Island Times News)
