Crusaders, Bobcats top 2nd leg of 9th Annual Island Jams

Teams Crusaders and Bobcats shared the spotlight after beating separate foes in the second leg of the 9th Annual Island Jams basketball tournament held at the Ngerkesoaol basketball court.

The Crusaders took the championship crown in the 9 to 13 years old (Junior High division) while the Bobcats took the title in the 14 to 18 years old (Senior High division). 10 teams saw action in the Junior High division while 8 teams were in the Senior High category.

After Ngerkesoaol, the tournament heads to Ngerbeched for the third and final leg of the tournament slated on July 12. The tournament that follows 3-on-3 format and will be played in a round robin format and each team will play equal amount of games.

Registration fee is pegged at $1 per player and registration forms must be filled up and submitted together with the registration fee either at the PNOC office or during the game day. Brand new basketballs will be given away to the winners of the tournament.
