PMA drubs BMS in ISL Senior Varsity bball

Contender Palau Mission Academy (PMA) Warriors improve its chances going into the playoffs as they defeated Belau Modekngei School (BMS), 78-34 in the 2014 Inter-School League (ISL) Senior Varsity basketball league.

After trailing behind 9-10 in the first quarter of play, the Warriors went on attack mode as they outscored BMS in the second with a 22-8 run to close the first half with a 31-18 lead.

Then it was all Warriors game as they sailed with the win with RB Dorado leading the way with 16 points as Marvic Ngchar tallied 11 while Ben Haruo clipped 15 markers for BMS on the losing side.

Games today will have EHS versus PMA at 4 p.m. at the Palau National gym. Wednesday will have the playoffs with the losers battling for third place on Thursday while the championship game is set on Friday at the Palau National gym.

A total of five teams will vie for top honors and it include Palau High School teams A and B, Emmaus High School and Palau Mission Academy.
