Four games set in FBL Sunday

Four games are set to be featured this Sunday in the resumption of the Filipino Basketball League (FBL) at the Palau National gym.

Cellar dweller PECI Spartans will have their hands full as they take on Surangel Stars in the curtain raiser at 11 a.m. The Spartans, sporting a 1-4 win-loss record, are set to be led by Benjie Cantomayor, MJ Casiano, Honorato Mananquil, Richard Alasagas, Ric Arta, Jhun Carabot, Rudolph Calaprdo and Daniel Fontanar.

On the other hand, after their sorry loss to Western Union last week, Surangel Stars (2-2) aims to bounce back as they will be led by the crew of Arnold Undecimo, Melvin Parrinas, Ronald Magcalas, Bong Gayongorza, ZJ Asido, Anthony Bruzula, Rex de Asis and Dinnis Demate.

Meanwhile, defending champion FR Spoilers gun for their fifth win as they will face the Ilocandia Bulls in the main game at 3:30 p.m. Despite missing the services of Aries Echanova, who was slapped with a two game suspension for the fist fight that took place last January 5, the Spoilers are still a formidable force as they will rely on Michael Bombita, Coco Gonzales, Mark Pagayanan, Leo Sebastian and Francis Tan.

The Bulls will then have the trio of Marvic Ngchar, RB Dorado and Edward Baysa. They will also have Joeger Supnet, Jun Villena and Ryan Cacho who will provide fire support.

In other games, Rams will meet the Royal Cargo Rangers at 12:30 p.m. while Western Union will face the Hanpa Cardinals at 2 p.m.
