Cardinals to test Choppers in FBL

Team Hanpa Cardinals will test the Aloha Maid Choppers when the 2014 season of the Filipino Basketball League (FBL) resumes Sunday at the Palau National gym.


Sporting a 1-2 win-loss record in the team standings, the Cardinals are set to get their hands full as they face the Aloha Maid Choppers (2-1) in the main game set at 3:30 p.m. Set to pace the Cardinals are Mhomar Sismaet, Phillip Maniago, Raymund Tan, Johnson Sicat, Ben Orbasayan, Anthony Biong, Mark Naguit, Ullyses Barra, Dennis Gonzales and Angelito Page.

On the other hand, the Aloha Maid Choppers, sponsored by Shimbors International, will again rely on the team of Arvin Pramo, Mark Louie Lofranco, Nelson Dupalco, Eric Dedeles, RJ Grapa, Jojo Cervantes, Arvin Tacder, Janine Carandang, Jun Mahor, Rey Potot and Mario Gonzales.

In other games, Jaguars will face the FR Spoilers at 11 a.m. followed by the PNQ Crushers-Western Union tussle at 12:30 p.m. as PECI Spartans will face Royal Cargo Rangers at 2 p.m.
