20 teams see action in IP&E ABL

A total of 20 teams will vie for honors when the 2013-14 season of the IP&E Amateur Basketball League (ABL) kicks off at the Palau National gym.

Teams this season will be divided into two pools. Pool A will have Papago Smooth, Ngarchelong Blue Shark, Ngaraard Red Torch, Hanpa Cardinals, Surangel Kings, Meyuns Red Storm, Melngoes, Ranchers, Ididers and Ngermid Rivals. Pool B will be composed of MEDA Boys, Matakui, Idid 4x4 Wheelers, Ikelauans, Stingers, Lawmen PEAC, Raw Surf, Breakers, Airwaves and PCC Mesekiu.

Playing tonight are Ngaraard Red Torch versus Hanpa Cardinals at 6 p.m. followed by Idid 4x4 Wheelers against Ikelauans at 7:30 p.m. as Surangel Kings will face Ranchers at 9 p.m.

Wednesday night games will feature Lawmen PEAC taking on Stingers at 6 p.m. followed by the Meyuns Red Storm-Melngoes tussle at 7:30 p.m. while Raw Surf will meet Breakers in the main game at 9 p.m.

Thursday night matches will have Ididers against Ngermid Rivals at 6 p.m. as Airwaves will face PCC Mesekiu at 7:30 p.m. while MEDA Boys will take on Idid 4x4 Wheelers in the night cap at 9 p.m.
