Peched Raw vs. FR Spoilers for Super League finals

It will be rematch for these two teams when the NBL champions Peched Raw meets runner up FR Spoilers tonight in the winner take all finals of the 2013 National Basketball League (NBL) Super League at the Palau National gym.

These two ball clubs are no stranger to one another having fought in the NBL championship series, wherein Peched Raw won via 3-1. In the Super League, the two teams already met with Peched Raw being able to take again the win via 86-84.

Game time is at 6 p.m.

Peched Raw advanced to the championship after beating the National Basketball League (NBL) selection, 81-69 while FR Spoilers earned their ticket to the finals after their 78-77 win over the Nationals in the semifinal round.

Set to pace Peched Raw are Sunshine Soalablai, Anthony Ngiraikelau, Douglas Schmidt, Sione Isechal, Dennis Castro, King Ngiraboi, Perry Oiterong, Elwang Ridep, Traxx Mark and Dedoch Kloulubak with Rayson King as head coach and Weston Ketebengang as assistant coach.

On the other hand, FR Spoilers will again rely on their line up composed of Mark Pagayanan, Lester Mendoza, Michael Bombita, Raul Osias, Francis Tan, Aries Echanova, Coco Gonzales, Al Obrero, Leo Sebastian, and Raymund Tan with Jun dela Cruz as head coach and Bobby Pineda as assistant coach.

Winners will be awarded immediately after the game. The tournament, which is supervised by the Palau Basketball Federation (PBF), is a tobacco, alcohol and drug free program.
