Opening of Rudimch Enterprise GBL rescheduled

To give participating teams enough time to prepare their roster for the hardcourt action, organizers and tournament officials decided to move the opening of the 2013 season of the Rudimch Enterprise Government/Business League to a later date.

The tournament was supposed to open Monday (August 12), but during the team managers, coaches and representatives meeting, it was decided that the opening of the tournament would be moved to August 19 still at the Palau National gym.

With the postponement of the opening, participating teams will be given the chance to submit their final roster and payment. Registration fee is pegged at $300 per team and teams are allowed to a maximum of 15 players. The first 20 teams to meet all the requirements will be allowed to participate. All payments should be made payable to the Palau Basketball Federation (PBF).

The tournament, which is supervised by the Palau Basketball Federation (PBF), is a tobacco, alcohol and drug free program. Any violators will be banned from participating. For more information call Topps at 488-4491.  By Peter Erick L. Magbanua (Island Times News)
