Peched Raw meets FR Spoilers for NBL title

Peched Raw earned their way into the finals after beating the Nationals, 97-79 in Game Three of their semifinals series in the 2013 season of the IP&E National Basketball League (NBL) played at the Palau National gym.

After taking a 41-39 lead at the end of first half, Peched Raw showed their defensive prowess as they outscored the Nationals with a 22-9 run to grab a 63-48 advantage. From there, it was all Peched as they went all the way to win the game.

Sunshine Soalablai topscored for Peched with 28 as Perry Oiterong added 19 while RD Dorado clipped in 22 to lead the scoring for the Nationals as Marvic Ngchar chipped in 20 on the losing cause.

With the win, Peched Raw will face FR Spoilers, which won over WCC Hammers in their own best of three semifinals series.

Game One is playing as of this writing. The championship series will be a best of five affair.

On the other hand, the Nationals will take on WCC Hammers for the battle for third place.
