Idid Airwaves down 4x4 Wheelers in IP&E NBL 2013

Team Idid Airwaves showed they could comeback and strike a win as they beat 4x4 Wheelers, 69-55 Wednesday night in the ongoing 2013 season of the Shell IP&E National Basketball League (NBL) played at the Palau National gym.

Down 14-12 in the opening quarter, Idid Airwaves showed life in the second as they blasted for an 18-9 run to grab the lead and close the first half with a 30-23 lead. From there, Idid Airwaves held on to score the win with Ferris Baulcechong leading the way with 25 as teammates Anthony Rudimch and Tutii Benjamin finishing the game with 20 and 16 points, respectively.

On the other hand, Leonides Gabriel and Desebel led the way for 4x4 Wheelers with identical 13 markers while Yangi Rengulbai chipped in 11 for the losing side.

In other games, Peched Raw drubbed PCC Mesekiu, 104-72; WCC Hammers beat Medalaii Stingers, 86-80; and FR Spoilers won over Ksau Imaging Solutions, 89-78.
