Spoilers to test Bulls in FBL Sunday
Defending champion FR Spoilers gun for solo lead of the team standings as they meet the Ilocandia Bulls, Sunday in the resumption of the 2013 season of the Filipino Basketball League at the Palau National gym.
Both teams are sporting an identical 8-1 win-loss record and are set to take separate course after their 2 p.m. match.
Set to pace the Spoilers are Michael Bombita, Coco Gonzales, Aries Echanova, Val Domingo, Mark Pagayanan, Ting Mendoza and Francis Tan while the Bulls will again rely on the team of Raul Osias, Joeger Supnet, Ryan Cacho, brothers Jun and Jhun-Jhun Villena.
In other games, Surangel Stars will face RP Rangers in the curtain raiser at 11 a.m. followed by the Jr. Nationals against Liquid Skyy at 12:30 p.m. while Western union will meet Hanpa Cardinals in the main game at 3:30 p.m.
Games are supervised by the Palau Basketball Federation (PBF). This year’s FBL League is supported by ATT Bar and Restaurant, HE Automotive, Palasia Hotel, Palau Royal Resort, Surangel and Sons Company, FR Construction, Engrs.
