Defending champion FR Spoilers and Western Union tries to continue their winning run when they meet separate rivals, Sunday in the resumption of the 2013 season of the Filipino Basketball League at the Palau National gym.

Sporting a 2-1 win-loss record FR Spoilers aim to score their third win as they face Surangel Stars at 2 p.m. The Spoilers will have Michael Bombita, Coco Gonzales, Aries Echanova, Francis Tan and Mark Pagayanan while Surangel Stars, who will miss the services of Arnold Undecimo, will rely on the team of Eric Manio, Melvin Parrinas, Ryan Tayag, Rodel Flores, Bong Gayongorza, Sib Reyes and Dennis Demate.

On the other hand, Western Union guns for a share in the top spot of the team standings when they meet the Jr. Nationals in the main game at 3:30 p.m. Western Union will again parade Bong Alambra, Dennis Castro, Medel Cuyugan and Janno Toquero as the Nationals will be led by the trio of Marvic Ngchar, RB Dorado and Edward Baysa.

In other games, PRA Choppers will face PNQ Rams in the opener at 11 a.m. followed by the Jaguars-Hanpa Cardinals tussle at 12:30 p.m.

Games are supervised by the Palau Basketball Federation (PBF). This year’s FBL League is supported by ATT Bar and Restaurant, HE Automotive, Palasia Hotel, Palau Royal Resort, FR Construction, Engrs.
