GBH, SDA continues lead in EASC Central School boys bball

Teams George B. Harris Elementary School and Seventh Day Adventist Elementary School continue to lead in the team standings after beating separate rivals in the ongoing 2013 Elementary After School Competition (EASC) Central School boys basketball tournament.

GBH nailed its third straight victory this time beating Meyuns Elementary School, 62-48 Wednesday afternoon at the Palau National gym. Down 46-47 going into the last quarter, GBH rallied with a 14-4 run to win the game.

Wallace Worswick paced GBH with 24 points as they sport a 3-0 win-loss record while MES suffered its second lost for a 1-2 tally despite the 17 markers of Elton Sapemang.

On the other hand, Seventh Day Adventist Elementary School scored their third win after beating MES Monday afternoon via 54-50.

There will be no games set today as games will resume on Monday with KES against MES at the Palau National gym. Games will start at 3:30 p.m.

Competing schools include Seventh Day Adventist Elementary School; Koror Elementary School; Maris Stella School; George B. Harris Elementary School and Meyuns Elementary School.
