MES takes top seed in EACS Girls league

Despite absorbing their first setback, contender Meyuns Elementary School (MES) still holds the tops spot in the team standings of the EACS Central Schools Girls basketball league.

MES suffered their first lost at the hands of George B. Harris Elementary School, 51-18 last Tuesday. Greta Otei paced George B. Harris Elementary School with 10 markers while Trang Ksano tallied 11 for MES.

Despite the setback, MES managed to bounce back as they beat anew Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) Queens, 49-38 Wednesday with Ksano regaining her form with 36 baskets while Nhikka de Lina had 18 for the Queens.

At the close of the elimination round, MES still lords the team standing finishing with a 5-1 win-loss record while George B. Harris Elementary School came in second with 4-2 card as the Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) Queens came in third with 3-3 while KES went winless with a 0-6 tally.
