Spoilers take Game One of FBL finals

With the aim to bring back their glorious days, team Spoilers beat the defending champion Western Union, 105-68 to take Game One of their best of three championship series for the Filipino Basketball League (FBL), Sunday at the Palau National gym.

The Spoilers meant business since the opening tip off as they established a 28-10 lead at the first quarter and then continued their onslaught as they extended their lead to 47-31 at the close of the first half.

From there, the Spoilers cruised away as their fast break plays dominated and crushed Western Union’s defense. Michael Bombita and Marvic Ngchar paced the Spoilers with identical 11 points each as Bong Alambra and Erwin Igamen topscored for Western Union also with identical 11 markers, respectively.

Game Two of the championship series will be on January 15.
