Ocean View/PCGM wins Master’s title

Newcomer Ocean View/PCGM showed grace under pressure when they dethroned team Originals, 84-83 to win the coveted championship, Sunday in Game Three of the best of three championship series of the Master’s Basketball League last December 11 at the Palau High School gym.

Ocean View/PCGM closed the series with a 2-1 count. The Originals took Game One with a breath taking 83-82 win while Ocean View/PCGM took Game Two with an 84-78 count.

Jojo Arevalo led the scoring chores for Ocean View/PCGM with 24 as MVP awardee Ricky Erese added 20 while veteran skipper Jimmy Domingo led the Originals with 16 on the losing end.

Winners were awarded immediately after the championship game.
