2011 Rudimch Government/Business League: MOF Omsangel, KSG score wins

Government division leader Ministry of Finance (MOF) Omsangel showed class as they drubbed a helpless Ministry of Education (MOE) II, 108-66 Wednesday night in the ongoing 2011 season of the Rudimch Enterprise Government/Business League at the Palau National gym.

After posting a 25-9 lead at the end of the opening quarter, MOF Omsangel showed no mercy as they outscored MOE II in the second with a 33-14 run to establish a 58-23 lead at the close of the first half.

From there, it was an easy way for MOF Omsangel as they went all the way to nail the win with John Stills leading the pack with 33 points while teammate Clint Mersai added 24 as they continue to keep a clean slate in the team standings with an 8-0 win-loss card.

Philip Haruo topscored for MOE II with 20 baskets as they suffered their seventh lost for a 2-7 tally.

On the other hand, Koror State Government scored their fourth win at the expense of PPUC Kamik, 73-71. Gino Smau showed the way for KSG with 25 markers as they sport a 4-4 mark while Del “Etitl” Mad led PPUC Kamik with 21 as they slipped to 3-6.

In other games, MOE I won over PNCC Molekoi, 57-53; MOJ Cops defeated Justice League, 89-72; Mason’s Hardware dumped Palasia Hotel, 119-77; and Neco outscored Fish and Fins Hunters, 61-47.

Games resume tonight with PNOC/PBRA Mercury Optimax versus MPIIC at 6 p.m. while games on October 24 will have PNOC/PBRA Mercury Optimax against Justice League at 6 p.m. as MOE I will meet MOJ Cops at 7:30 p.m.
