Three way traffic in team standings in Master’s cagefest

It’s a three way traffic in the team standings after defending champion team Originals, Contenders Ocean View/PCGM and PPR All Stud won their respective assignments, Sunday in the ongoing second conference of the Master’s Basketball League at the Palau High School gym.

The Originals went to Sonny Jacinto who tallied 21 points to dispose the ECC Eagles, 94-64 while Ocean View/PCGM bested Jive Restaurant, 82-54 behind the 25 baskets of Jojo Arevalo as the PPR All Stud continue to push down WCTC Power Ball to the cellar with their 89-68 win with Nelson Baysa taking the charge with 22 markers.

With the wins, the Originals, Ocean View/PCGM and PPR All Stud are locked in a three-way traffic in the team standings as all of them are now sporting a 4-1 win-loss record.

Games will resume on September 18 with three matches that will end the 1st round of eliminations. Games will start at 12 noon with Panahon Ko I2 versus PPR All Stud followed by the Ocean View/PCGM-WCTC Power Ball tussle at 1:30 p.m. while the Originals will meet Jive Restaurant in the main game at 3 p.m.
