After taking a 47-29 lead at the end of the first half, the Slashers made sure that the defending champs will not be able to make another comeback as they kept their composure on till the final buzzer.

 Arvin Pramo found his range as he paced the Slashers with 25 points while teammate Jun Bautista added 20 as they now sport a 4-3 win-loss record while Emerson Patenia led the scoring chores for Western Union with 23 markers as they suffered their first lost this season but remains on top of the team standings with a 7-1 card.

 In other games, team Spoilers drubbed Aloha Maid Choppers, 105-56; Ilocandia Bulls bested team Guardians, 81-64; and Surangel and Sons routed PNQ Rams, 90-79.

 Games will resume on May 29 with team Jaguar versus Surangel and Sons at 11 a.m. followed by the Aloha Maid Choppers-Guardians tussle at 12:30 p.m. as Hanpa Cardinals will face Mam’l Divers Rangers at 2 p.m. while the unfinished game between the Ilocandia Bulls against the Spoilers will be played at 3:30 p.m.
