MEDA WIN KSHL 14 BOYS TITLE

In closing the inaugural KSHL 14 Years and Under Boys League, Tournament Director, Ivan Blesam, thanked all teams and coaches for a very successful start to the new KSHL Youth and Junior Leagues. The new concept to have the KSHL played in age groups has caught the attention of all young basketball players who continue to ask when their age group will be played.

A very good crowd attended the finals on Saturday and National Men’s Coach, Johnny Kintaro expressed delight at the standard of play and the potential that these players have for the future.   Coach Kintaro was also amazed at the basic team skills of the players and their scoring ability.

Play-off for 1 / 2 Meda [Cody Ngiraungil 23, RB Dorado 14] (66)

defeated Ngermid [Tyler Otei 11, Excel Otei 11] (43)

The next KSHL Junior League will be for 12 Years and Under Boys and Girls and is scheduled to commence in early March.
